Detailed Analysis does not show correct # of tick decimals

Postby Jaded » Tue Aug 14, 2012 11:52 pm

I am doing some forex testing now and noticed that the detailed analysis is rounding all numbers to 4 decimal places, even though SS shows it detected the default as 0.00001 ticks. It appears to be doing this on the trades tabs, but the detail tab is showing all 5 decimals. Could this be fixed and also verify that there is no calculations that are taking place using the rounded 4 decimal places instead of the unrounded 5.

Thanks!

The number of decimal places has always been hard-coded, so it shouldn't be expected to adjust itself based on minimum ticks. However, I agree that it should go out to 5 decimal places on the Trades tab as it does in other areas. I will put this on the list. In the meantime, you can know that it is rounding to 4 decimals in the display only, and it is carried to the full amount in all calculations internally.
