Typo in help file?

Postby mandelmus » Sun Feb 05, 2012 4:09 am

Under the Help section > Formulas > Scripts > Variable Assignment > there is an example that reads "avg5 = mov(close, 90, simple); // avg5 becomes the 5-day moving average" ... shouldn't that be "mov(close, 5, simple)"?

Under the Help section > Formulas > Formula Reference > Lower > Description: > "The Higher formula returns the lower of 2 values." ... shouldn't that be "The Lower formula returns the lower of 2 values."

Decreasing Value:
Example #2: decreasing ( rsi ( 14 ), 70) will return a 1 if the 14-day RSI has decreased in value from the prior day.

Increasing Value:
Example #2: increasing ( rsi ( 14 ), 70) will return a +1 if the 14-day RSI has increased in value from the prior day.

* Looks like they were copied from "Example #2" under "Cross Above"
* shouldn't those be: decreasing( rsi ( 14 )) and increasing( rsi ( 14 )) without the "70"
* also, use both "return a 1" or "return a +1" for consistency ("return a 1" was used under "Cross Above")
