Version 4.1.12 Released

An upgrade to Version 4.1.12 is now available, containing a number of important fixes to the latest release. The following primary changes were made:

* Correction to multiple memory related errors. A variety of memory related errors have been being received on some 64-bit Vista Business operating systems. While some of these may remain, the most common issues have been corrected. We're exploring the possibility of creating a 64-bit version of StrataSearch to ensure 100% compatibility.

* Prevent 'no Symbols were available for evaluation' error. In some cases, an early interruption of a OneClick Search by a higher priority task in the Processor Queue could create this error. The OneClick Search could then be restarted without problems, but the Processor would automatically be paused in the process. This has now been corrected.

* Correct program fault when running some OneClick Searches. A bug related to the creation of multi-systems in some OneClick Searches had been creating program faults in some cases. This has now been corrected.

* Conversion to Vista Security program with authorization. StrataSearch requires administrator privileges to be able to run on Microsoft Vista. Previously, Vista users needed to right-click and select "Run As Administrator". However, a new integrated request for administrator privileges has been implemented that will allow users to launch StrataSearch normally. Depending on the account security, Vista may then issue a prompt confirming that StrataSearch should have the ability to run on that computer.

* Implementation of $highprice and $lowprice formula macros. Similar to $entryprice and $daysheld, these macros can be used in the Exit String to obtain information about the currently held position. The $highprice macro identifies the highest price of position, while the $lowprice macro identifies the lowest price of the position.

To install the program update, users can use the Help > Check for Updates menu from within StrataSearch. If any problems are encountered using this method, users may alternately download and run a manual upgrade from:
