Version 3.2.16 Released

A V3 upgrade to Version 3.2.16 is now available, containing a number of important fixes to the latest release. The following primary changes were made:

* Correct optional weight boost in OneClick scoring algorithm. A problem was found in the OneClick processing when the Optional Weight Boost setting was being used. The proper weight for such values was not being properly allocated, but this has now been corrected. To allow for backward compatibility, this correction is being implemented on a switch. All existing OneClick Searches will still reference the old weighting by default. All new searches will be configured to use the new weighting. The switch is maintained on the bottom of the Strategy Performance tab of each OneClick Setup. Thus, users can manually convert their existing searches over to the new weighting by unchecking the "Use Old Weighting" box. Note: The old weighting algorithm will be supported only through the remainder of StrataSearch Version 3.0. Version 4.0 offers only the new algorithm.

* Correct e-mail values distributed by Dynamic Strategies. When the "Send E-Mail Notification of Enhancements" box is checked when running Dynamic Strategies, an e-mail containing results is distributed at the end of each interval. However a problem was discovered that was forcing some of the performance values to be displayed as zero. This has now been corrected.

* Correct 'Automatically Exit Positions' setting in OneClick Search. The use of this switch when running Dynamic Trading Strategies is intended to exit all positions at the end of each interval so that each interval holds positions exclusive to that interval. The setting in many cases, however, was not properly exiting positions. This has now been corrected.

To install the program update, users can use the Help > Check for Updates menu from within StrataSearch. If any problems are encountered using this method, users may alternately download and run a manual upgrade from:
